Ben and Alana met during their high school years. One of their first conversations included the discussion over cherry coke float. While Alana was out with friends, Ben surprised her with a cup of cherry coke float with “Will you be my girlfriend?” written on the side. Ben thought it would be great to incorporate something similar to ask another question…

With the help of close friends, the plan was to propose on the Rollins campus in a nice tucked away gazebo.

A friend of Ben’s would be hosting a fund raiser for his wrestling team. However, would “run out” of root beer.  Luckily, there happened to be a backup supply of cherry coke. Alana even turned to ben and mentioned that was how he asked her out. Little did she know. After sharing a few sips and some sweet words, Ben dropped to his knee and turned the glass around to reveal the words, “Alana, will you marry me?”On top of the already precious moment, Alana had no idea her sister & close friends were hiding out to capture it and share in the moment. So many moments of laughter as the reality began to sink in.
“I don’t get to call you my boyfriend any more, Ben! I get to call you my Fiance! Thanks for engaging me!”
